🩺As partners of Homes for Heroes, we want to recognize the hard work, leadership, and personal sacrifice of doctors in every field. The group Physicians Working Together, created this week to show that doctors wear many hats—acting as mentors, researchers, and leaders for all of us.

💉March 25: Kickoff for National Physicians Week and "Unity" events.
🏥March 30 (Monday): National Doctors' Day. This date honors the first use of anesthesia in surgery in 1842—a huge moment in medical history.
🚨March 31: Final day for recognition and support.

Huge shout-out to the crew at Animal Friends Humane Society 🐾

Butler County is lucky to have them❤️ While they do amazing rescue work, I want to highlight their Pet Food Pantry. It’s a simple, vital resource that helps neighbors keep their pets at home with food and needed supplies. Sometimes the best rescue story is the one where a pet never has to leave their family.

👟New Shoes, Big Smiles!

Yesterday, we had the best time volunteering with Shoes 4 the Shoeless ✨This amazing local nonprofit provides brand-new, correctly fitting gym shoes and socks to kiddos in Southwest Ohio who need them most.

With about 65% of local children living in poverty, many are stuck in shoes that are worn out or just don't fit. It was so special seeing the kids' faces light up when they picked out a pair of shoes they truly loved!

Since 2010, they’ve helped over 200,000 children, and we were so honored to be a small part of that impact. We’re already counting down the days until we can volunteer again!

Don’t get hyper-focused on the rate and miss the big picture🔍

Most online calculators only show you "Principal and Interest," but that’s rarely the whole check you’ll be writing every month. To get your true budget, you have to look at the "hidden" layers:

✅ Taxes & Insurance: These are non-negotiable and vary wildly by ZIP code.

✅ PMI & HOA Fees: These can add hundreds to a payment regardless of your interest rate.

✅ Credits/Buydowns: These can give you a lower "start rate" but change later on.

The more you know about what makes up that final number, the less stress you'll feel at the closing table📍
