We’re proud to introduce Jeff Smitherman, Affiliate Director of the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers.
Jeff serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Trusted Capital Partners and is a registered securities representative specializing in tax-smart investment strategies for 1031 eligible properties, opportunity zones, capital gains, and alternative investments. A native of Longview, Texas, Jeff brings integrity, strategic vision, and principle-based leadership to every aspect of his work.
Before entering the investment and land advisory space, Jeff served as a Marine Corps officer, including commanding a battalion in Afghanistan. His career of service continues today through his work helping clients navigate complex investment opportunities and preserve long-term wealth through strategic land and property decisions.
Jeff is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and advanced degrees in national security. He also holds FINRA Series 63 and 22 securities licenses and is a member of LandWise Partners.
Outside of work, Jeff remains actively involved with his family farm, serves the veteran community through Patrol Base Abbate, supports Tun Tavern Fellowship, and enjoys life in Weatherford, Texas with his wife of 33 years.
