Why FD Friday 💙
Meet Gina Salvador, our Social Media Marketing Intern!
This summer FD Community partnered with to provide internships to students. Gina joined FD Community to gain real-world experience in marketing while continuing to build her skills as a graphic design student.
During her internship, Gina worked closely with our Marketing Director developing social media campaigns across Instagram and Facebook. Her primary focus was our summer auto loan promotion, and the results spoke for themselves, with a 16% increase in auto loan applications during June! 🚗📈
From creating graphics and promotional content, Gina helped us explore new ways to connect with our audience. We also learned that the fun, short-form content really gets people moving! 👀
Beyond marketing, Gina gained valuable insight into financial products, participated in an FD commercial filming, and experienced firsthand what it’s like to work alongside a team that genuinely cares about the community.
We’re proud to have been part of Gina’s professional journey and even prouder to support the Waterbury Promise, helping connect local students with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and prepare for their future careers.
