A bookkeeping tidbit....

Being organized is so crucial to even get a snapshot of where your business is at let alone getting all your vendors paid on time and tackling debt. Or to even know if your business is making a profit. It’s super important but often goes to the bottom of the list, especially for the business owner that is doing it ALL themselves.

Let’s be honest the bookkeeping of a business is not the glamorous part by any means. It can feel mundane and tedious. But in reality, it’s where most new businesses struggle with structure and systems and in the long run not being organized with where the money is going and how much is coming in is where businesses can get into a real pickle.

So how can you get a grip on your books and know what is actually going on with the company while working in the company. Many small business owners struggle with the thought of someone helping with their books and there has to be trust as well as the funds to pay said person. And then if you’re paying someone to help are they doing an accurate and efficient job? There is a lot of doubt and concern when thinking of letting someone into the money side of the business. The struggle is real!
