Have you experienced underpayments, denials, or other questionable conduct during the insurance claims process? You may not be alone.

We operate the only Special Investigations Unit (SIU) in the country dedicated to gathering and vetting allegations of criminal misconduct against policyholders. When credible evidence of criminal wrongdoing is identified, cases are referred to the appropriate public prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.

If you believe your insurance company may have acted fraudulently, we encourage you to report your experience.

Nancy Dodd M.S. is a retired supervising fraud investigator for the San Diego District Attorneyβ€˜s office & a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

A former police sergeant, detective, & insurance fraud criminal investigator for the California highway patrol, Nancy is an adjunct professor at Southwestern College where she teaches criminology to police recruits.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University as well as a Masters of Science in Law Enforcement & Public Safety Management from the University of San Diego.

Nancy is the President of Women Leaders in Law Enforcement, San Diego chapter & a Technical instructor at Miramar College.

Nancy rounds out a fraud investigation team at the APA SIU that is already staffed with seasoned investigators & fraud fighters. Their critical mission of investigating carrier-side criminal fraud is sure to be enhanced by the addition of Nancy Dodd to the team.
