Sovereignty - is the quality of having a sense of freedom, a controlling influence and independent authority over a geographic area, such as a territory or community. The Sovereignty Group (TSG) was founded for the purpose of providing individuals and organizations a vehicle to "collectively" leverage capital and resources for investment in “for-profit” and “not-for-profit” community and business
ventures, with a stated goal of reclaiming, through financial independence, our communities one at a time – domestically and globally. Through various program vehicles, TSG will seek to develop, educate, promote and manage current, as well as, prospective business owners (and fundraisers) by providing resource(s) that will bridge the knowledge gap, promote growth and long-term stability for their business ventures. TSG is currently involved in an initiative to leverage opportunities available through the recently signed JOBS Act (April 2012) that will provide a vehicle to fund business start-ups within our communities and beyond.
