If you haven’t received your card yet in the mail, please visit any CU1 Branch and we’ll make you one on the spot!

We are back online and ready to serve you in the branch first thing tomorrow morning! You can also use your mobile and online banking today.

It goes without saying, but we greatly apologize for the major inconvenience during this outage. When you have time please verify your transactions and balances. We’ve spent the weekend getting most of the transactions posted but there is a chance that some don’t show up until the next business day or two.

What happened? Our core system, Sharetec, had an outage caused by a data center overheating which in turn damaged vital infrastructure. Indiana Lakes FCU (now Credit Union 1) along with hundreds of other financial institutions were affected. This is not to pass the blame, but more to inform you.

As you may know, our time is limited with our core system at Sharetec. Our account conversion will move us over completely to Credit Union 1’s platform at the end of October. Our online banking is down due to our core processor's data center overheating, which caused significant infrastructure damage. This has affected hundreds of credit unions over the last 48 hours, including ours. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience. We are optimistic our branch will be able to serve you in full capacity yet today, with online and mobile banking up soon as well. We will update you our status as we go.
