Many business owners work hard every day but still feel uncertain about where their money is going.

They look at their bank account and wonder:

"Are we actually making money?"
"Can we afford to hire?"

Branded apparel can be deductible. Polos, jackets, name tags, hats.

But it has to be branded.

Think about uniforms. Nurses wear scrubs, and they are not wearing those to a birthday party. That is clearly workwear.

For realtors, most outfits are not like that.

What you have on today looks nice, but you could wear it anywhere. It does not tell me anything about your company. So no, you cannot just write off regular clothes.

If you want apparel to be deductible, make it clearly business. Branded. Professional. Identifiable.

And do not forget education and coaching.

Courses, masterminds, trainings, audiobooks. Some are good, and some are trash, so be wise.

But if it is for your business growth and development, track it. Because that is often deductible too.

If he is living with his mom and the money is running out, he needs income. Fast.

And if his niche only has two employers in the area, he has to widen the net.

Apply outside the niche. Apply outside the location. Apply online. Apply for something that pays now, even if it is not the dream job.

Then build toward the dream while the bills are covered.

Ask him what he really wants long term. What career path does he want? What direction does he want his life to take?

But do not let the dream delay the income.

Even $20 to $30 an hour changes the runway. It buys time. It reduces pressure. It creates options.

The goal is movement. Income first. Plan next. Progress always.

I did not realize at first how much some of you spend on other people’s houses.

And it was honestly beautiful to see, because it showed me a lot of agents really love their clients and go above and beyond.

Some of you pay for cleaning. Staging. Decor. Photography. Drone footage. All the things that people assume should be seller expenses.

But you do it because you want the home to sell, and you want your client taken care of.

And if you are paying for those staging and showing costs, they are deductible.

There is no $25 limit on that. This is not a gift category. This is a business expense tied to making money.

Track it. Categorize it. Keep your receipts.

Because you can write off going above and beyond.

As you keep spending time with God, you will start recognizing His voice.

You will know when you are doing too much, and when it is time to sit down.

I have felt that unction in real time. Even when I was telling myself I have to work the next two weeks. I do not want to be lazy.

God kept nudging me to rest.

It would be moments where I had no more appointments, and I felt the permission to be done for the day. And it was like, yes. This is what I want for you. Balance. Come to Me.

And I would still feel guilty, like I am not doing enough.

But God was making it okay. I need you to rest.

And that gave breath to my soul.

So learn the rhythm. Know when to go hard and when to rest. Selah.

Keep the Sabbath holy. The Sabbath was made for us. Not to punish us, but to protect us.
