Dear KASF ERC Members and Alumni,

More than fifty years ago, right here in the Eastern Region, a small group of Korean Americans gathered with one bold vision — to give back and help the next generation through education. From that humble beginning, KASF was born.

KASF has empowered students to pursue their dreams, discover their calling, and give back to their communities. Thousands of scholarships have been awarded, and those students have gone on to become doctors, engineers, teachers, artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. I am no longer surprised when I
meet past scholarship recipients at church, community gatherings, and professional events — they are in our communities, making a difference. That is the legacy you are part of.

Today, we are reaching out to reconnect and re-engage our ERC alumni and member community — the heart of KASF’s story. First, we are updating our contact database and would greatly appreciate you taking a few minutes to confirm or update your information. Second, we would love for you to consider engaging in one (or more) of the following upcoming opportunities for 2026. Interest in any of the below is NOT a firm commitment but does help us prioritize our planning for the year.

**Mentor/Mentee Program**
In collaboration with the National Korean Student Alliance (N-KSA) and Council of Korean Americans (CKA), a mentor/mentee program will launch early this spring. Sign up by March 1st.

Upcoming Activities:
-Washington Nationals Korean Heritage Day Outing – April 18th
-KASF National Board Meeting in Washington, DC – April 24th & 25th
-KASF ERC Golf Tournament – June 1st
-Scholarship Review Committee Participation – July/August
-DMV Alumni Happy Hours and Networking Events – Throughout the year
