Since 2001, the Wisconsin Book Festival has connected authors and readers through stories that inform, inspire and bring people together. What began as an annual celebration has grown into a year-round opportunity for people across Dane County to discover new perspectives and engage in meaningful conversation.

Today, through the leadership of Madison Public Library, the festival continues to make these experiences accessible through free author events and community programs.

Our Latinx Associate Resource Group, Vamos, recently gathered for a Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon.

Associates enjoyed lunch from Tapatios Cocina Mexicana, played Hispanic Heritage-themed Jeopardy, shared recipes for a build your own cookbook station, entered in a raffle, and captured memories at the photo booth.

Thirty-three seasons ago, Schuster's Farm was selling pumpkins from the family's front lawn.

As more visitors arrived, the Schuster family kept adding new ways for people to enjoy the farm. Today, guests can spend the day exploring the pumpkin patch, meeting the animals, enjoying bakery favorites, or returning after dark for the Haunted Forest. The farm's Blooms on the Farm event has also become a popular summer tradition.

As Park Bank celebrates 60 years in Dane County, we're celebrating local businesses that started small, stayed true to their roots and continued growing one season at a time.
