Last week, Park Bank associates stepped away from their desks and into our community for Give Back Move Forward, our annual volunteer week.

Across 16 local nonprofit organizations, 48 associates gave 194 hours of their time to support causes that make a difference right here in Dane County.

We are grateful to the organizations and people who made this week so meaningful. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Not every great idea happens right away.

In 1938, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a civic center overlooking Lake Monona. The project faced setbacks, delays, and decades of debate. Wright never saw it built.

But 40 years later, his dream became reality. Monona Terrace opened based largely on Wright's original design, adapted by his former apprentice. Today, Monona Terrace is one of Madison's most recognizable landmarks. It's where neighbors gather, couples get married, organizations host events, and visitors experience our city from a new perspective.

At Park Bank, we've spent 60 years serving Dane County. One lesson we've learned is that meaningful progress often requires patience. The best ideas earn support over time. They adapt, endure, and ultimately become part of what makes a place unique.

Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center stands as a reminder that some investments continue paying dividends for generations.
