Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Joe Arroyo Helping others has always been at the heart of who I am. Finance can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I take the time to understand what's most important to you—before we talk about investments. By collaborating with your CPA, attorney, and other trusted professionals, I work to create a financial strategy tailored to your unique goals and situation. I’m here to work with you one-on-one, helping you feel confident and informed every step of the way. I’ve h

ad the privilege of working with a wide range of clients—including veterans, first responders, educators, and skilled tradespeople—and each experience keeps my passion for this work alive. I began my career with Edward Jones in 2022 after spending several years in retail management. A proud Portage, Indiana native, I’ve always loved “The Region” and all it has to offer. My dad dedicated over 40 years to US Steel before retiring in 2016, and my mom stayed home to raise me, my brother, and our extended family. I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management, along with minors in Marketing and Human Resource Management. I married my wife, Marci, in September 2017. We’ve lived in Valparaiso for eight years and are proud parents to our daughter, Emmy, who turns two this December. We also have a Boston terrier named Vinny and are excited to welcome a baby boy in August 2025. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also an avid sports fan—cheering on the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks. Giving back to the community is deeply important to me. I currently serve on the board of The Caring Place, act as vice president of the Valparaiso Lions Club, and serve as an ambassador for the Valpo Chamber. I also volunteer with Opportunity Enterprises and participate in PALS for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Northwest Indiana. These organizations make a meaningful impact, and I’m grateful to be part of their mission. At Edward Jones, we believe that strong relationships are built face to face. That’s why we meet when it’s convenient for you—recognizing the demands of your schedule and your life.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women whose strength, compassion, and love help shape our families and futures. Your impact never goes unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

A special Mother’s Day shoutout to my wife, Marci. Thank you for being the heart of our family and always keeping us grounded and on track. Emmy, Mason, Vinny, and I love you so much!

This Mother’s Day is especially emotional as it’s the first one without my mom. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I’m forever grateful for the memories, love, and time we shared 🤍

I also want to thank Kyle Brown and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK for allowing our office to serve as a collection site for the “Movers for Moms”campaign in partnership with The Caring Place, Inc.. We’re honored to support this initiative for the third year in a row, and thank you to everyone who donated to help those in need.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and meaningful Mother’s Day!

Happy 3rd birthday to our sweet boy, Vinny! 🐶 You fill our days with endless love, energy, and joy, and you’re the best companion to Emmy and Mason. We know how much you love sneaking their table scraps and today, Mom’s definitely going to spoil you extra! 💙

“Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.” — Brian Solis

This quote really resonates with me, and I’m
grateful to be part of a community that truly lives it out.

A big thank you to Natalie Beare and the Valparaiso Police Department for inviting me back to speak with our first responders who work every day to keep us safe. It’s always a privilege to share insights on financial wellness and collaborate with local professionals who are aligned in making a difference. I also appreciate Tyler Doane from Doane Law for joining and highlighting the importance of estate planning.

I also had the opportunity to attend The Amanda Forum yesterday, and I’m so glad I did. Thank you to Tiffany Irving for the invitation and for delivering an impactful presentation on recognizing warning signs of financial abuse among youth.

Grateful as well for The Caring Place, Inc. and everyone involved in making these collaborations possible.

Happy Friday, everyone! 😎

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King

Lately, it seems like so many people are facing some kind of adversity or anxiety, so I wanted to share a little light this Friday. I’m grateful to be part of a platform that truly reflects this message, and I have a few highlights to share:

First, a big thank you to Mike and his team at Geitonia Greek Grill for partnering with The Caring Place, Inc. on the soup fundraiser. We exceeded expectations, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our community.

Second, our office is proud to once again participate in the “Movers for Moms” event, collecting essential items for moms in need this upcoming Mother’s Day. Huge thanks to Kyle Brown from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK for making this happen for the third year in a row. **Please note: our office is unable to accept monetary donations or gift cards.**

Lastly, thank you to Carl Kurek from the MAAC Foundation for the tour and for sharing the organization’s vision and impact on our first responders and the community. Excited for what’s ahead and the opportunity to collaborate in the future!

Wishing everyone a great weekend 😎

A little late posting, but I had an amazing time at Black Tie Bingo last Friday supporting The Caring Place, Inc. alongside family and friends.

Huge kudos to everyone who played a role in making the event such a success. Gatherings like this not only support an important mission but also help raise awareness throughout the community. I’m grateful to serve alongside such dedicated board members who consistently show up and give their all.

And a special shoutout to The Caring Place team: Jessica Luth, Erin Blumenthal, Megan Cherepko, Deana Duvall, Erin Loden, Kirsten Leouses, Erin Erickson and others behind the scenes. Thank you for the countless big and small victories you achieve every single day. Your work truly makes a difference. 💙

Hello everyone, this post is being shared on both my Facebook and LinkedIn professional pages.

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of being one of ten “Dudes” nominated to participate in the Delta Dudes pageant hosted by Delta Theta Tau – Valparaiso Chapter. I want to sincerely thank everyone involved, as well as our friends, family, and community, for the incredible support in raising over $42,000 for local nonprofits.

While I didn’t take home the overall title, I was honored with the “Biggest Heart” award. That recognition means so much to me, especially coming from the chapter’s perspective. I take pride in putting my whole heart into everything I do, and I believe that’s what allows me to connect with my clients and community on a deeper level.

Another highlight of the evening was participating alongside Alex Respess. Alex, his wife Courtney, and the entire Crozier family have been some of my biggest supporters since day one. Alex once invited me to join a bowling league he described as being full of the “movers and shakers of Valpo.” I’m grateful to have built meaningful relationships through that group and to continue finding ways to make an impact in our community.

Lastly, as some of you may know, my dad, John Arroyo, passed away earlier this month. This loss has been especially difficult, coming just two months after losing my mom. My dad was one of my best friends and mentors. He always knew exactly what to say. He loved LinkedIn and regularly sent encouraging messages to people in my network.

Dad, I love and miss you, but I’m so grateful for the life you lived. Until next time.
