LifePoint Planning has been named to AdvisorHub's 2026 "Advisors to Watch."

Across all six of this year's lists, AdvisorHub recognized fewer than 1,000 advisors nationwide, out of more than 280,000 in the country.

The rankings weigh three things: scope of practice, growth, and professionalism (regulatory record, community involvement, and team).

"Do I have enough to retire?" is a question we hear a lot.

After almost 15 years, we have learned it is usually not the real one. The quieter question underneath is the one that keeps people up: why doesn't this feel like enough?

New video on the four things that close that gap, and why none of them is your account balance. Linked below.

Worried Social Security won’t be there? I get it.

But claiming at 62 as a hedge means you’re accepting a guaranteed 30% cut to protect against a possible 23% cut.

That math doesn’t work for most people.

The trust fund has a real shortfall. But the projected cut, if Congress does nothing, is still smaller than the reduction you’re locking in by claiming early.

If you have the assets to bridge the gap, run the numbers first.

“They’ll take my Social Security if I keep working.”

I hear this constantly. And it’s not true.

If you claim before full retirement age and earn above the limit, Social Security withholds some of your benefits. But once you hit full retirement age, they recalculate your monthly payment and credit those withheld months back.

Your check goes up permanently.

It’s not a penalty. It’s a deferral.

If you had $2 million and the market just dropped 9% from all-time highs (as it did in Q1 2026), what would you do?

In our latest video, I walk through exactly what I'd do. Not in theory. In practice.

→ How to structure your portfolio so a pullback doesn't disrupt your life
→ Why a downturn can actually create tax planning opportunities
→ The one mindset shift that separates wealth builders from wealth destroyers

This isn't about timing the market. It's about having a plan that already accounts for moments like this.

What would you actually do with a $2 million portfolio during a market pullback? Not in theory. In practice. In this video, I walk through the exact strategy ...

Volatility isn't a bug. It's a feature of being an equity investor. It's the very thing that allows long-term investors to earn the returns they do. The S&P 500's ~10% annualized return over the past century includes holding through world wars, financial crises, and yes, periods that felt a lot like this one.

The S&P 500 is roughly 8-9% off its all-time high. Oil prices have surged since the start of the conflict in Iran. Trade policy remains uncertain. And if you've turned on the news at any point over the past few weeks, you'd be forgiven for thinking the sky is falling. It's not. That doesn't mean thi...

Every year feels chaotic when you’re living through it.

This chart overlays the biggest events of 2025 with the S&P 500’s returns.

Same year. Same timeline.

When you zoom out, the story usually looks very different than it felt in the moment.

What Actually Matters When Building a Portfolio?
Past performance is easy to see—but it's not the only thing that matters.

When building investment portfolios—especially for retirement—metrics like correlation and volatility are just as important as returns.

• The S&P 500 has had 12-month drops as bad as –43%.
• Two investments can look different, but move almost exactly the same.
• Without understanding correlation, you could think you’re diversified… and still see everything drop at once.

Diversification isn’t just owning more stuff—it’s owning the right mix of things that don’t all move together.

In this video, I break down what correlation is, how it works, and why it could help you build a portfolio you can stick with long-term.

Got a text from your bank about suspicious activity?
Before you click or call—stop.

Scammers are impersonating real banks like Chase with texts, calls, and even fake support reps.
These scams feel urgent on purpose—they want you to panic and hand over login info, verification codes, or even transfer money yourself.

In this video, I break down how the scam works and 3 simple steps to protect yourself:

✅ Don’t click on links in texts or emails
✅ Don’t call the number in the message—use the real bank website
✅ Never share login details or two-factor codes

Just because it feels real doesn’t mean it is. Stay skeptical.
