As a Black woman in the financial industry, where we make up only 1.5% of financial advisors, I know firsthand the struggle to rise above the systemic challenges.

But Wendell Pierce’s words ring so true - ‘Any Black man that has an issue with a Black woman rising, then they have to look at their own inaccurate inadequacy.’

Too often, the success of Black women is met with resentment rather than celebration. But the reality is, when one of us breaks through, it paves the way for all of us.

Our triumphs are a testament to our strength, resilience and limitless potential. So let’s keep shattering glass ceilings, my sisters. 👑 And may our brothers have the wisdom to uplift rather than undermine our achievements.
