Welcome Home.
My favorite part of the home buying process is not the typical one. For most, closing day is (as it should be) the most exciting step. While I do love watching families hug each other after everything is signed, seeing new parents loading their little ones up into the moving trucks and hearing all of the wonderful realtors and closing agents congratulate my buyers…my favorite part begins earlier in the journey.
Like most mortgage lenders in the East Texas area, I was born & raised here. I come from a huge family, being the oldest of 12 siblings (we don’t say step, we just say family). I began my career in banking very early, a bright eyed 16 year old part time teller at Spring Hill State Bank. I also worked part time at McAlister's Deli where I got to know just about every single character in Longview, Tx. Working these two jobs gave me the appreciation I have for optimal customer service. I learned that trusted relationships mean more than numbers. I have been fortunate to work for the last 13 years beside a group of elite bankers in East Texas, learning every day that helping people grow was the true key to success. I have experience in every avenue of mortgage lending from processing, mortgage law (oddly enough, my favorite part), title work and even post closing.
Before you begin a mortgage loan, you may be hesitant about whether you will ever be able to own your very own home. I am here to tell you that your goal is achievable through me. I strive to see the look on your face when I tell you that you are approved. The subtle emotions my clients express as the worry slips away is absolutely my favorite part of the home buying process. I have diligently worked to understand the in’s and out’s of the mortgage “world” & it is my goal to show you just how possible your dreams are.
