Let’s talk about cardio…

Cardio doesn’t have to be a chore; it can be a fun and invigorating part of your fitness routine!

Try activities like hiking, dance classes, or even doing recreational sports to keep your heart rate up while enjoying yourself.

However, it’s important to balance cardio with strength training, especially if your goal is to tone and build muscle. Overdoing cardio can lead to muscle loss and hinder your strength gains, so finding the right mix is essential.

Ready to elevate your fitness game?

Let’s work together to create a tailored plan that keeps cardio enjoyable while focusing on your muscle-building goals.

Smaller steps you take every day will compound into one of two things: a better/improved version of you or quite the opposite.

Any step backwards or bad habits you are taking every day, unless you become aware of them and are brutally honest with yourself, you won’t be able to change them.

Can’t lose any weight?
- How many workouts did you miss this week?
- How many more calories you consumed over your maintenance?
- How many more snacks, or junk food?

Some bad habits are difficult to spot because it might be things you have been doing for years and years, so having the support of a professional will help you point out specifically what you are doing wrong so you can create a game plan to change it.

5 Fitness advices I would’ve give my younger self when I first started my fitness journey.

1. Focus on the long term. It takes time to build muscle, it takes time to create to change a lifestyle.
2. Forget about “dieting” create a healthy relationship with food by not labeling certain foods as “bad” or “good” everything can be eaten in moderation.
3. Enjoy your rest days, it is OK to rest when your body ask you too.
4. Don’t feel guilty about overindulging once in a while. One day of eating a little more than you should is not going to break you. Enjoy and pick up your healthy meals right after
5. Stop comparing yourself with others. We all have different bodies, different genetics and different lifestyles.

5 most common misconceptions women have about training

1. **Bulking up:** Many women fear that lifting weights will make them bulky. In reality, most women do not have enough testosterone to develop large muscles like men unless they specifically train for it with intensive programs and diet.

2. **Cardio is enough:** There’s a misconception that cardio alone is sufficient for fitness. While cardio is great for cardiovascular health, strength training is crucial for building lean muscle mass, which boosts metabolism and enhances overall strength and balance.

3. **Spot reduction:** Some believe they can target fat loss in specific areas through exercises like crunches or leg lifts. However, fat loss occurs uniformly across the body through a combination of diet, cardio, and strength training.

4. **Fear of judgment:** Women often worry about being judged at the gym, especially in male-dominated areas like the weight room. However, most people at the gym are focused on their own workouts and are not paying attention to others.

5. **Age and fitness:** There’s a misconception that women cannot start or continue exercising as they age. In reality, regular exercise is beneficial at any age and can help maintain strength, flexibility, and overall health.
