Getting the building permit for our new Ferndale office called for a celebration, and we celebrated with the newbie on Woodward, just south of 9 mile. Iuliana took her family to try the new and let us just say the place was a vibe 🍔✨

Serving up burgers that were even better than they looked, and the decor and feel of the place was adorable. We definitely recommend checking them out next time you're in the area, and can't wait to be part of this community!

We're taking a moment to celebrate a significant anniversary: our founder's 25 years in the U.S. Her journey began with a bold decision to leave her home in Romania, arriving here with a suitcase in hand and a whole lot of ambition. In a photo from that day, she's standing at Detroit-Metro airport, ready to start anew.

Her path began as a waitress at a local diner, a job where she learned a lot and shared plenty of laughs along the way. This experience blossomed into a brilliant career in the financial industry. Her personal milestone of becoming a proud U.S. citizen in 2008 solidified her place in the community she is so proud to be a part of.

Today, her ethos as a responsible small business owner extends beyond the office. You’ll often find her with her family, frequenting local businesses, new restaurants, and even supporting local charities and causes close to her heart. one of her favorite ways to spend her time.

Her inspiring story is the very foundation of the values we hold at Vim Capital. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and the journey that brought us all here today.

Everyone here at Vim is a huge animal lover, so when Iuliana and her daughter had a free Sunday, they headed to to volunteer.

They spent the afternoon with Layla, a German Shepherd who’s still learning to trust again but is sweet as can be. She instantly clicked with Iuliana’s daughter instantly and seems to have a soft spot for kids.

is one of our favorite organizations in the city. They rescue and care for stray and abandoned dogs across Detroit who need it most, and they host volunteer days every Sunday.
