🎃 Calling All Local Businesses & Organizations! 👻

Our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up, and we’d love for YOU to be part of the fun! We are partnering with our neighbor, North Georgia Credit Union, again this year, and the event will be held in their parking lot.

📅 Monday, October 26th from 6-7:30 pm (rain date on Tuesday, October 27th)

We’re looking for local businesses, churches, schools, organizations, and community groups to join us by decorating a trunk and handing out candy to families in our community! Last year, we had over 600 people attend!

This is a fun opportunity to connect with local families, represent your organization, and help us make this year’s Trunk or Treat our best one yet. 🧡

A little look back at National Financial Awareness Day! 💸

For the third year, we had the opportunity to spend the day with our friends at Patterson Pump Company, sharing financial education resources and tools to help employees feel more informed and prepared for their financial journeys.

Thank you, Patterson Pump, for continuing to welcome NGCU and giving us the opportunity to bring financial education directly to your team. We always enjoy spending the day with you!

NGCU is proud to sponsor the 4th Annual Franklin County 4-H 5K Run/Walk! 🍀🏃

We had the opportunity to present our sponsorship to Franklin County 4-H during this past weekend’s livestock show and get a great photo with some of their 4-H cattle exhibitors!

The 5K and Fun Run will be held Saturday, September 12, and there’s still time to register. Proceeds benefit local youth through Franklin County 4-H!

We loved spending time with the University of Toccoa Falls RAs during their recent training! President/CEO Brian Akin shared a few words about the credit union philosophy of “people helping people,” and we were happy to provide lunch and a few NGCU goodies for this wonderful group. And, of course, we couldn’t visit campus without stopping to admire the falls!

🚤 One last look back at summer fun!

Before we completely say goodbye to summer, we had to share a few more memories from Discover Lake Hartwell with NGCU! Families spent the day exploring, creating, and learning how Lake Hartwell supports local businesses, jobs, and our community.
