One of the things I enjoy most about renovating houses is finding ways to completely change how a home functionsβnot just how it looks.
On this Tempe project, we made some major improvements:
π‘ Moved the living room slider to create a better indoor-outdoor flow.
π§Ί Completely redesigned the laundry room to make the space more functional.
π§ Updated the plumbing to support the new layout and give the home a solid foundation for years to come.
π Added a two-car garage, creating more convenience and adding long-term value.
A successful renovation isn't about throwing money at a property.
It's about making thoughtful improvements that improve the way people actually live in the home.
Sometimes the biggest value comes from changing the layout, solving functional problems, and creating spaces that today's buyers truly want.
Every decision should answer one question:
Does this make the home better?
That's the difference between remodeling a house and creating value.
What upgrade do you think adds the most valueβthe new garage, updated plumbing, relocated slider, or redesigned laundry room?
