Sometimes life can throw curveballs, but while on my daily morning walk, I was reminded of the beauty that’s always around us, even when times are tough. The fresh air and the sight of the sun peeking through the trees - it’s the little things that can bring us so much joy. I’m so glad I got to appreciate this beautiful morning!

I attended my first Vision Board Party today and I loved spending time with other female entrepreneurs setting our intentions for the year.

Here is the start of my board. I intentionally left space to build on this as the year goes on.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲!⁣

My daughters recently planted Thyme, Basil and Cilantro. The seeds are beginning to sprout and the girls are so excited. They have plans to plant Sage and a few other herbs this weekend. ⁣
⁣
Those closest to me know that I LOVE cooking with fresh herbs. I guess it’s because I’m a Caribbean girl 😊. Having a herb garden is something I’ve wanted for a long time, so I’m really excited to get this started! And added bonus - my girls are interested as well! 🤩⁣
⁣
I never started one on my own because my past experience with plants was never good 😜. Even the plants that were known to be “impossible to kill” - yep, they inevitably didn’t make it. ⁣

And I let that hold me back. ⁣
⁣
But, watching my girls just dive head first into this planting adventure, has been inspiring.⁣
⁣
And it’s a great reminder that sometimes just the action of moving forward and “planting” something is enough. And it builds on itself. And you just keep moving forward. And you grow and learn as you keep forward motion. This is what I do as a business owner everyday. So why should planting some seeds be so intimating?⁣

So now, the girls and I are talking about putting a raised bed and some pots on our back patio. I guess we’re all in! ⁣
