โฃ
My daughters recently planted Thyme, Basil and Cilantro. The seeds are beginning to sprout and the girls are so excited. They have plans to plant Sage and a few other herbs this weekend. โฃ
โฃ
Those closest to me know that I LOVE cooking with fresh herbs. I guess itโs because Iโm a Caribbean girl ๐. Having a herb garden is something Iโve wanted for a long time, so Iโm really excited to get this started! And added bonus - my girls are interested as well! ๐คฉโฃ
โฃ
I never started one on my own because my past experience with plants was never good ๐. Even the plants that were known to be โimpossible to killโ - yep, they inevitably didnโt make it. โฃ
โฃ
And I let that hold me back. โฃ
โฃ
But, watching my girls just dive head first into this planting adventure, has been inspiring.โฃ
โฃ
And itโs a great reminder that sometimes just the action of moving forward and โplantingโ something is enough. And it builds on itself. And you just keep moving forward. And you grow and learn as you keep forward motion. This is what I do as a business owner everyday. So why should planting some seeds be so intimating?โฃ
โฃ
So now, the girls and I are talking about putting a raised bed and some pots on our back patio. I guess weโre all in! โฃ
โฃ
Any tips for us on this adventure?
