Last night, I was in a car accident with my best friend. I was the passenger, and I don't remember the moment of impact because I was asleep on the way home. http://lowcostcarinsurancefreequote.com/
The first thing I remember is waking up on my back outside the car, with my best friend leaning over me, screaming my name. Everything after that comes back only in small pieces. I remember her crying and telling me that the paramedics were on the way and that help had arrived. I don't remember being placed on the stretcher. The next thing I knew, I woke up in the back of the ambulance, drifting in and out of consciousness on the way to the hospital.
Thankfully, I'm okay. I'm going to be sore for a while, and I have a few cuts and scrapes, along with a large bump on my head and bruising around my eye and cheek. Most importantly, we're both alive, and for that I'm incredibly grateful.
A huge thank you to Life360 for notifying my mom. I don't remember calling her after the accident before EMS arrived, so knowing she was alerted and able to find out what happened means more than I can express.
Life can change in an instant. Hug your loved ones, drive safely, and never take a single day for granted.
