So grateful that we were able to hold our 2021 L4L Summer Leadership conference in person this year in Ft. Lauderdale. Thanks to Debra Cooper, Dion Joannou, Commissioner Ben Sorenson, Jim Sinegal, Patricia McPhoy, Mo Corker, Laurie Sallarulo, Scott Farber, Rebecca Lipsey for your participation as well as great presentations from our L4L Fellows Tien Nguyen and Gabby Cruz. We all had a great time working on our community service project preparing and gifting over 400 hygiene packs to be distributed to those in need at The Caring Place in Miami. Also had an amazing time at Wynwood Walls, Xtreme Action Park and at Bubba Gumps on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a great event !

Congratulations to Jessie Thorne and Patrick on the birth of their beautiful little angel Prudence (Pru). Pru made her grand entrance to the world on August 2, 2020 and was 7lbs. 6oz. We wish Pru, Jessie and Patrick all the blessings in the world.

Congratulations to our L4L 2020 graduates. Hannah Kilbride(FSU). Hannah will be attending Dental School at Boston University. Paisley Greer (UCF), B.S. Entertainment Management, B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies. Jovani Hernandezi(UF), B.S. Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Jovani will be working for GE Aeronautics. Esther Rose Benette (American University), MEd, Masters in Educational Policy & Leadership. Dr. Ha Tran (FIU Medical School), Ha will be doing her residency in pediatrics and Children's Hospital in DC. Dr. Daniel Pierce (FSU Medical School). Daniel will be doing his residency in Urology at Tampa General/VA/Moffitt Cancer Center. We are so proud of all of our graduates and wish you all the best as you continue on your journey's.

Great time in Orlando last month. L4L is so fortunate to have had great presenters, workshops, community service project at Second Harvest Food Bank and a great deal of learning, fun and bonding during the 4 day conference. We would like to thank Erin Winick, Buck Martinez, Sommer Sherrod, Karen Moore, Rachel Scheinberg, Daniel Meyer, John Rivers, Lisa Maile, Belkis Plata and Don Townsend and all of the Fellows for their enthusiastic participation in our conference.

This August the Leaders 4 Life fellows came together in Tampa, Florida to share ideas, experiences, lessons, and moments together on their journey of not only further getting to know each other, but also growing together as the future leaders in their perspective fields. From military generals, to county judges, the fellows were pleased to welcome community members from across the Bay area. These community leaders came to share their personal experiences, teachings, and tips that they have learned throughout each of their unique careers. On top of some professional development, the fellows were able to visit the Museum of Science and Industry and also do their annual tradition of hitting the bowling alleys to show off their bowling skills while also setting the bar for what would be a conference to remember. The Fellows have begun the 2017 - 2018 school year across the state and country, and the annual conference was just the spring board of enthusiasm, motivation, and confidence they needed to be successful. They can't wait to put into practice everything they haven taken from this conference.
