Johnston Middle School Performing Arts Super Fund Johnston Middle School is in desperate need of repairs to the performing arts department. We need your financial and physical help on this this.

The auditorium has no working lights in the audience, frayed cables on the stage lights that are holding the lights above our kids heads, the stage is lopsided as pianos roll off the stage, that's the ones that have wheels. The curtains are dry rotted, the roof leaks onto the stage, the stage is full of holes with wood splintering into the the performers feet, no mirrors in the dressing rooms. Con

sidering that this school is HISD's magnet for visual and performing arts, this is pretty pathetic. If you can offer assistance in any way let us know

I need 10 meyerland area business folks to step up to the table with a donation of $2,500 each to upgrade the light and sound booth at Johnston Middle School. You get advertising at all performing arts events, tables for flyers and heart tugs of 1,000 children for showing your support. I'm putting my money on the table as well ! HISD has come to the table and is fixing our electrical issues, painting and installing new floors.

Today is a good day. HISD came through and sent an army of staff to fix the life safety issues at Johnston Middle School...
