The most important moments of an event are those minutes before the Paddle Raise. Whether it’s a video or a speaker, every word should be intentional and timing of the essence. Last night at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast Party for Potential we witnessed the power of an impactful speaker firsthand.

Jakobi spoke from the heart—blending emotion with humor and sharing the real-life impact the funds raised have on changing the trajectory of children’s lives. The room felt it. The sincerity landed. And when we opened the first big level, the bidder numbers were raised. What a pleasure it was to work with this exceptional young man.

I (being Tarryn posting this) have watched ) from stage hundreds of
times over the years and I never get tired of seeing him bring his unique energy
and rhythm to the giving portion of the event. Whether it’s a $50,000 level or the
$100 level, he creates momentum with his “Giving Rap” and makes everybody
feel that they are contributing to the success of the fundraising, not only
through their physical donations but also the energy and enthusiasm.

Energy creates energy.
Energy creates giving.
And giving creates more giving.

We shall officially call this fundraising formula E=E=G=G²

We love the visibility of the Mission at Rally events. From the cards on the tables naming the Rally Kids, to the cookie celebrating the 20 years of the organization has been funding research for better treatments, to the guitar cookie that acknowledges the community of Nashville, the posters surrounding the venue telling the story of these brave Rally warriors, and the intro video that is timed and messaged with precision and intent. Let the Mission shine through!

The event is called “Evening For The Bay” and that is exactly where the event will be hosted….ON THE BAY. In two weeks time there will 400 guests, lights, staging ,sound and a band right on this spot and it’s going to be lovely. Looking forward to raising the money with
