How much is Child Tax Credit 2023?

🗣️🗣️ The Child Tax Credit was enhanced by the American Rescue Plan from $2,000 to $3,000 per child for children over six years old and from $2,000 to $3,600 for children under six years old. Its age limit was also changed from 16 to 17.

🗣ATTENTION ANYONE WHO RECEIVED UNEMPLOYMENT THIS YEAR‼️

You will need to file your unemployment on your tax refund.
- you should receive for 1099-G in the mail similar to how you get your W2

If you are still getting unemployment and taxes are not being held. I recommend completing for W-4V and give it to the paying office of your benefits. Tax rate will be 10%. Without taxes being held you will have to pay taxes at the end of the year on all benefits

Below is the process when you are a client with us , and receiving services:

-Documents will be collected ( Copies of all identifying documents are collect not act documents Ex:birth certificate, Drivers License, an Social Security Card) W2 are collected , Banking information

- Your return is processed within 48 hours. Your file is kept in a locked safe with all of your personal information.

- After processing your return before submitting it I will give you a call to inform you of your refund amount and confirm you bank account information ( If you are doing direct deposit)
You will be given information to check “ Where’s my refund”

- I will continue to check for your refund date also an notify you once I get your refund date ( I have had some refunds sent as early as 7 days)

- once your refund is sent and deposited into your bank. We will schedule a time and place for that same date for you to make your payment and receive your file back that will include:
- All W2’s that were given to me
- All copies of personal information
- A printed copy of your completed tax return

Clients have the option for me to keep their file until next year , but still provide them with a copy of their printed tax return for their records.

The irs will start accepting returns January 2021 ‼️ Please be sure to have your AGI from last year. You will not be able to file without your correct AGI. If you do not have a copy of your return contact the IRS for a transcript so that you will have it by the time it’s time to file your return ‼️ Contact them now to request your transcript so you will not be held up when it is time for us to file your return.
