St. Louis Community Credit Union

St. Louis Community Credit Union We are a leader and voice for social justice in the financial services world. Through caring service and education, we provide the residents of the St. St.

Louis region with safe, affordable and accessible financial services and products. Louis Community is more than a credit union. We’re a leader and voice for social justice in the financial services world. For 80 years, we have been a true champion for the community. As a Community Development Financial Institution, St. Louis Community Credit Union values and recognizes the importance of financial

inclusion. We realize that while some of us may have different starting points in our financial and life journeys, reaching our desired goals is very important. You have a place with us. You belong. We believe that everyone has a right to affordable financial services. Whether it is through checking and savings accounts to help you manage your finances, a car loan or that loan for your first time or forever home you’ve been dreaming of, we are here for you. These wealth-building vehicles help those in our community elevate and sustain their pathways to a brighter financial future. Louis Community Credit Union serves residents of St. Louis City and those of Franklin, St. Louis and St. Charles counties in Missouri; as well as St. Clair, Madison, Monroe and Jersey counties in Illinois. We are also a Low-Income Designated credit union and one of the largest Minority Depository Institutions in the country (per the National Credit Union Administration). Because we are a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we can offer better rates and fewer fees than most large financial institutions. We strive to create opportunities that help make people’s lives better. Our approach to financial services is holistic. With several branch locations, including mini-branch offices inside social service agencies, we meet people where they are. Our giveback stretches beyond our walls. In addition to our branches, we align with community partners like Prosperity Connection to help our members receive free financial education and coaching services. Through our many community-focused efforts, we offer our members the opportunity to connect to much-needed services that may affect their daily lives outside of banking. We provide access to healthcare, healthy foods, workforce development and education. We’re part of the communities we reach and serve. Our connection is real. What we do for our members and the community matters. Please do not send personal account information via public posts or private messages, as social media is not a secure form of communication.

📚✏️ Back-to-School Season Is Here! 🍎
Summer is winding down, vacations are over, and it's time to start shopping for school supplies. Before you stress about the cost, here are a few ways to save money while making sure your students have everything they need:

✅ Check what you already have at home.
📝 Make a list and stick to a budget.
🛍️ Shop sales, compare prices, and use coupons.
🏷️ Buy generic brands when possible.
👕 Consider thrift stores for clothes and backpacks.
💳 Take advantage of tax-free weekends and student discounts.
🤝 Look for local school supply drives and community resources.

A little planning can go a long way toward keeping more money in your pocket. Check out this link to see back to school events and resources across the St. Louis region:
