Feeling especially grateful for the work I get to do. I LOVE it!

Helping people cut through the noise, find their footing, and feel confident again is incredibly fulfilling. I recently contributed to a Financial Planning article on helping women build confidence in wealth management, and it reflects what I see every day.

Women don’t need more complexity. They need clarity, understanding, and a relationship built on trust. A different approach can make all the difference.

Women often feel talked down to when it comes to financial matters. Advisors with experience serving women clients say the industry has a lot of work to do to change this.

"What do you see in me?"
We have a hard time believing ourselves when it comes to our talent, so sometimes it really is as simple as asking someone (or AI) what are our strengths and talents, according to this great conversation with Alison Niermann founder of Tilley Partners.

Want success? "You'll only feel the most fulfilled in that role when you're being true to yourself and not trying to just fit into that box. And if you're not fulfilled, you won't succeed, the business won't be impacted, and you'll probably be looking again anyway. So be true to yourself. Understand what that is, and be okay with that. Own it. Elevate it. Illuminate it. Go use it to make an impact. On repeat. Develop it."

As a leader, company, and individual; success comes from allowing people to be themselves and let their light shine. Listen in for a great conversation.

Grateful to be quoted in Investopedia on navigating Sudden Wealth Syndrome and why confidence comes from clarity, not rushed decisions.

Sudden wealth often arrives during emotionally complex moments, and women deserve guidance that supports both the financial and emotional sides of that transition.

If someone in your life is facing a major wealth change and could use a steady, judgment‑free partner, I’m always happy to help.

“Who should I meet with to make this role a success?”

When starting something new like a job, project, or leadership role; it’s tempting to put your head down and learn everything first. Master the facts. Study the processes. Know the business.

But often, the faster path to success is meeting the people who live the reality behind the facts.

Conversations reveal what org charts and spreadsheets never will. And while ego pushes us to prove competence, real progress comes from curiosity and vulnerability.

You don’t need to know everything. You need to build relationships, ask good questions, and create trusted dialogue. That’s where learning accelerates—and success follows.

Social Security isn’t cut and dry. It’s not just about the numbers, AND it’s never one-size-fits-all.
Grateful to be quoted in Woman's World on a commonly misunderstood topic: Social Security eligibility for those who haven’t worked full-time and spousal/survivor benefits.

I’m always glad to help clear up myths so people can make more informed decisions about their financial future.
Thank you to Woman’s World for the opportunity to contribute.

What does splintered wood have to do with success?

Wood splinters when stress, pressure, or force works against the grain. The fibers that once bent together snap apart.

Many women experience something similar.

We’re stretched across roles and expectations: career professional, caregiver, parent, partner, volunteer, leader. Be strong, but not too strong. Ambitious, but not intimidating. Speak up, but don’t take up too much space. Every expectation feels like an oxymoron.

Over time, that constant tension can cause us to splinter.

And just like the body reacts to a physical splinter (with inflammation, pain, and sensitivity) our minds and energy respond when we’re pulled too far from our own grain.

Success doesn’t come from hardening ourselves. It comes from alignment: honoring our strength and our softness, without apology.

When we live and lead with integrity to who we are, we don’t splinter. We bend. We endure. We grow.

Uncertainty feels inevitable - until you know what to look for.

Negotiation and mediation don’t have to feel unpredictable or chaotic. When you understand the patterns, pressure‑test the scenarios, and anchor decisions in data, uncertainty turns into clarity.

Preparation changes everything. It replaces guesswork with confidence and transforms high‑stakes conversations into informed, strategic outcomes.

A great watch for anyone navigating negotiation, conflict, or complex decision‑making.

Independence is overrated.
Collaboration is where real growth happens.

When we stop equating independence with resilience, we give ourselves permission to grow personally and professionally. A powerful perspective worth reflecting on.

Negotiation, power dynamics, patience. All three can be challenging.

The latest She Lift Project Podcast features Melissa Gragg, and a powerful conversation on these topics and what really anchors a deal.

Melissa breaks down how business valuation, forensic finance, and psychology come together in high‑stakes negotiations - from business sales to complex, high‑net‑worth divorces. We talk about why so many people negotiate from fear, how preparation and data completely shift the power dynamic, and why you don’t need to be the loudest voice in the room to be effective.

If negotiation, conflict, or financial conversations have ever felt intimidating, this episode will change how you see the game. ♟️
Highly recommend giving it a listen.

Vulnerable moment! This is something I'm not great at, YET!

Kindness isn’t tested in easy moments. It’s revealed in the hard ones. As Angie Lovatto shares, real compassion shows up when it’s uncomfortable, when patience is thin, and when someone needs grace the most.

It’s easy to be kind to people who make it easy. The deeper work is choosing empathy, understanding, and presence for those who are struggling, even when we don’t have the full story.

A powerful reminder that how we show up for others can truly change everything. Worth the read and reflection. ✨
