Wilson Surveying has two job openings currently.
Survey Crew Chief: 2-4 years experience, good math skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work outdoors, basic computer skills, Civil 3D, experience with a variety of survey equipment. Responsibilities include client relations, training of crew members, coordination with office staff, supervision of crew members, keeping accurate field notes and legibility of field stakes, finding and identifying survey monuments and control points, infield communication with construction company personnel, compliance with Federal and State safety laws.
Instrument Person: 1-2 years survey experience preferred, but open, good math and technical skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work outdoors, basic computer skills, some Civil 3D experience preferred, but open, some experience with a variety of survey equipment preferred, but open. Responsibilities include carrying out instructions and tasks assigned by the Crew Chief, assisting with completion of all surveys and construction staking, recording accurate and clear survey notes, accurately recording data points with a data collector, assisting in the maintenance of the work vehicle, finding and identifying survey monuments and control points.
