🔍 Assessed Value: Used for property taxes, set by local tax assessors, based off a percentage (usually 80 -90%) of appraised value, and may not change often. It's based on a formula considering size, location, and improvements.

💰 Market Value: What your home could sell for today. Influenced by current real estate trends, location, condition, and recent sales of similar homes.

🧐Working with a Realtor is important, your Realtor understands, and is up to date on the real estate value trends, and will help you understand what the true market value for a home you are buying or selling is.

🤔 Why it matters: Knowing both helps in understanding property taxes and also understanding that the homes assessed does not determine it's current market value!

🏠Great news! 🌟 In case you missed it, interest rates have taken a dip, and are the best levels we have seen in almost 6 months! 📉💸
The Fed announced a hold on raising interest rates for the third consecutive time, which has caused the market react favorable, and in turn mortgage interest rates are coming down slowly but surely.
If you're looking to buy, you should act fast, as lower rates brings out more buyers, and due to low inventory home prices will continue to be bid up.

If you are looking to refinance, or consolidate some high interest credit cards, give me a call to see if refinancing now makes sense or not. There is no guarantee these lower rates will stick around. 🏠💼✨
