Reflecting on 2025 — a year of growth, consistency, and a whole lot of second place finishes. 🥈

2025 was a year that tested me, pushed me, and ultimately made me better.

I finished the year helping 106 families achieve homeownership, access home equity, increase their monthly cash flow and officially earning my place in the 100 Unit Club — a goal I set for myself at the very start of the year. Reaching that milestone and impacting over 100 families in a single year is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I closed a total loan volume of $23,176,592 and in a competitive year across the company, I finished #2 overall in both units closed and total loan volume, and #1 in self-generated loans closed—a category I take a lot of pride in.

It was truly the year of second place for me. I finished second in company rankings, second in the March Madness submission competition (18 to 22… still hurts 😅), and kept finding myself just one step away from the top spot. As I like to say: “If you ain’t first, you’re last” — shoutout Ricky Bobby. But this year reminded me that being consistently at the top of the leaderboard still means you’re doing something right.

Along the way, I:
✔️Won multiple Top Producer of the Month awards.
✔️Surpassed my personal record for self-generated loans closed—thanks to the loyalty of my past clients and the continued support of my friends, family, and realtor partners.
✔️Earned the Triple Crown Award, the first ever in company history — and to this day, only three bankers (including myself) can say they’ve achieved it.

None of this happens alone. My team, The Standard, went back-to-back (Like Brady 🐐 04' 05') winning Team of the Year, leading the company for the second straight year — the first team in company history to do so. I am extremely proud of this group and the culture we’ve built.

While 2025 didn’t end with every trophy I set out to win, it absolutely laid the foundation for what’s next.

This month, I was honored to help 10 families with their mortgage goals, funding a total of $1,796,540 in loan volume 🎉

One of the highlights of the month was helping two first-time homebuyers land their very first homes 🏡. Even more special—I kept a promise I made 7 months ago to a past first-time buyer.

Back then, I structured their loan so they didn’t have to bring $8,000 in closing costs out of pocket. After making 6 on-time payments, we executed the planned refinance this past month:

✨ No mortgage payment for 2 months (saving them over $4,000 before the holidays!)
✨ A new payment $306/month lower
✨ A significantly lower interest rate

That’s more than $12,000 in cash savings in just 8 months of homeownership 🙌

New Month. New Goals. Same Drive.

With May officially in the books, we’re kicking off the first Monday of June — easily my favorite kind of Monday. It’s a fresh start, and the game resets!

I wrapped up May with 12 units funded for a total of $2,917,191, just shy of my $3M monthly goal. A few closings were pushed into this week, but I’m still well on track to hit my 2025 goal of $40,000,000 in total fundings.

📣 Q1 2025 Update – Grateful and Growing!

I'm incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to help 41 families with their mortgage and HELOC needs in the first quarter of 2025, funding a total of $8,540,412 in loans!

A notable trend this quarter has been the rise in Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs) — 18 of the 41 families chose this route. With today’s market conditions, it’s easy to see why. Many homeowners are sitting on historically low 2–3% interest rates (what I like to call “COVID rates”) and don’t want to refinance into higher rates just to access their equity.

That’s where HELOCs come in. They're a smart, flexible solution that allows homeowners to tap into their equity without disturbing their low-rate first mortgage. Some key benefits:
