Good afternoon everyone!!! Today we have a big announcement. On May 31 Draconic will be closing. Sadly, Valerie and I can no longer run the shop due to personal circumstances. The six months we have spent with all of you have been unforgettable. I hope everyone has as many fond memories of this place as we do. We made so many friends, and had so much fun!! In light of that we are planning something HUGE for the last week of this month. There will be a follow up post with the details. There will also be a post following this of all players who have remaining store credit/ tabs. We are currently working out a deal with the guys at NexGen Gaming who generously offered to absorb any store credit left over,so none of it goes to waste.-- We want to thank everyone for making this an amazing experience. Thank you for all the degenerate games of commander, late nights full of laughs, and good times all around.

Tonight is FNM!!! We are drafting Amonkhet starting at seven!! 10$ entry. A draft will fire every time we get 8 people. We hope everyone is excited to try out this new draft format! I know we sure are.

Due to an emergency, we will not be opening the store today. We will have someone here at midnight to give out booster boxes to those of you who preordered and paid for them. Other than that, we should be open tomorrow at our normal time and will be hosting an FNM draft of Amonkhet at 7pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good afternoon everyone!! Anyone down for some Magic tonight?!? Perhaps some commander pods, kingdoms, or emperor. Tonight we will be offering the usual deal, 5$ for 5 pods, 1$ store credit for every person you defeat. If the participation is high enough i will raffle off the second worthy challenger mat for free!! We also still have three booster boxes of amonkhet up for grabs. anyone intrested in preordering can message us or swing by the shop.

This weekend has been very exciting!! Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the prerelease!! And to all who played, we hope your packs were stacked and your victories were sweet. Tonight is the night everyone!! Amonkhet prerelease kicks off at midnight!! If you have not actually paid for your spot yet, please come do so ASAP!! There are only a few that have not paid yet, but if they remain unpaid at 9pm tonight, we will begin reopening the spots!! There is only one spot remaining as of right now, so if anyone is interested, get it while you can!! We have 28 already paid spots and 5 spots pending payment!! We also ask that everyone please bring their DCI cards since we have changed computers!! We hope everyone is looking forward to tonight as much as we are!!

Today is our open house!!! If you have a friend or family member interested in playing magic its an excellent day to start. New players can come and learn the basics and get a little something to help them begin. Participants will receive a custom starter kit!! This kit includes a magic 2017 welcome deck, full art promo, Ultimate Guard sleeves, and a storage box, all free!!!. Also, this starter kit can double as a toolkit!! for 5$ you get your pick of 30 lands, 40 commons, and 30 uncommons! Why buy a toolkit where every one is the same when you can handpick every card!! Cant make it in today? No worries. This deal will last while the supplies do. We look forward to seeing a lot of new faces.

Don't forget to sign up for prerelease!! There's only 3 days left to sign up for $20!! Starting on the 17th, prerelease will be $25!! Come sign up before the price increase!! We still have spots open for all three days!! Also, this Saturday is the Amonkhet open house!! New players will receive a complimentary welcome deck, and experienced players will receive a promo full art land card for bringing a new player with them!! We will be running demo matches with the welcome decks starting at 2pm, and each participant will get a promo full art land while supplies last!! We will be raffling off a free prerelease that day as well, and all attendees will be entered to win!! So bring a friend and help grow the community!! Okay everyone!! Tomorrow we will be having a commander FNM at 7pm!! It will be $5 to enter for prizes!! If you do not want to pay, you may still play in the pods for free!! You just would not get the same prizes. If you pay to enter, you can play in up to 5 random pods throughout the night, and EACH kill will get you $1 in store credit!! At the end of the night, we will have a drawing for a free prerelease!! If you participated in the pods but did not pay, your name will still be entered into the drawing once!! If you did pay to enter, your name will be entered into the drawing TWICE!! So come on out tomorrow at 7 for some commander, store credit, and a chance to win a prerelease!!
