This happened yesterday and I posted on my GoFundMe page, thought it would automatically post to Facebook but it did not. Just wanted to share about the great day I had.
Hello again everyone!
What a great day! Truck passed smog with great numbers. I had filed for Social Security Disability before I went into hospital and was told 4 to 6 months. Well then the new prognosis was made so I sent an update and was still told 4-6 months. Bummer. Well today they called and said that they had moved it into expedited, praise God, to get it approved (praying) sooner. Now I have to go to Future Ford to try and find records from 2006 of me working there so I can get as much as possible. Again fingers crossed as I really have no income right now.
NOW for the great news! I called the Wellness Center today and talked to Samantha and she said a Dr would call me tomorrow to discuss my condition and to see if I wanted to go there. I said "Samantha is the only reason he's calling is to tell me about it and to see if I want to come?" in which she said "yes". I then said "He doesn't need to call. I WANT to go there and the sooner the better" So she checked and I now have a reservation to go there and begin my treatments! Woo hoo!!! I am so glad and blessed by this. I now have an idea of cost for me and my sister as 2 people need to go to learn the regiment. It will run $12,150 for 3 weeks lodging and meals and juicing for 2. This does not include any of the nutrients I will need to take, the IV's of vitamins and co2 (oxygen) and other fluids. They run $200 each but I believe we will buy a 10 pack for a reduced price (nothing is cheap I guess). Then of course gas and food along the way there and back. I have re-adjusted the goal now that we know what we are looking at so it doeasn't seem so lofty. Is it enough? I don't know but it is a start.
Thanks to everyone who has donated and shared my situation. This is great news and proves to me again that God is on my side and wants me to beat this!
Have a grand day and God bless you all!
