I’m starting the search for replacing my Landrover since she’s getting close to 150,000 miles. I love her but want something a little different, like a Bronco. Kelly likes this Lexus.

Dolly Parton certainly knew the difference between making a living and making a life.

She filled hers with music, laughter, kindness, generosity, and a love for others that reached far beyond the stage. She never forgot where she came from, and she used her success to make life better for countless people.

Please join WVCEA in praying for Dr. Phil Suiter and his family. Dr. Suiter, WVCEA’s first Executive Director and a former Assistant State Superintendent of Schools with the West Virginia Department of Education, is at home under hospice care and appears to be nearing his homegoing. This picture was taken during a visit with him about four weeks ago.
Christian education in West Virginia owes Dr. Suiter a tremendous debt of gratitude. He wrote and helped secure passage of the Exemption K law, protecting the freedom of private Christian schools to educate students without governmental interference. Please pray for God’s peace, comfort, and grace for Phil and his family during these precious days.

This house is right across the street from my son’s house in Parma, Ohio, and I absolutely love it!

Every time I see it, I think it looks like a real-life version of the house from Bear in the Big Blue House. It’s the color, the steep roof and especially that little curved window at the top.

Tip Tuesday: Whether your house is big, blue or neither, make sure it has the right homeowners coverage. Your home may be your biggest investment—and it deserves more than a one-size-fits-all policy.

Apparently, my daughter isn’t just a veterinary student—she also has a talent for designing and remodeling! She gave her bathroom quite the transformation.

It’s also a good insurance reminder: When you make significant additions or improvements to your home, let your agent know. Your dwelling coverage is based on rebuilding costs—not simply the home’s market value—so upgrades may mean it’s time for a coverage review.
