Myspace could be getting a second chance.

The current owners of the once-popular social media platform, brothers Tim and Chris Vanderhook, say they're planning to relaunch Myspace with a fresh vision after nearly two decades on the decline.

The brothers hope to create a platform that feels different from today's social media giants by placing less emphasis on algorithms and endless scrolling, planning to recreate the platform's original success seen under founder Tom Anderson who sold the company in 2005.

A launch date has not yet been announced.
