FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED
Meet Heidi! 🖤🐾
Heidi is a 10-month-old, ~ 40 lb Labrador Retriever/Staffy mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. She’s a sweet, happy, goofy girl with a big personality and plenty of adventurous energy!

Heidi is playful, bouncy, strong, and active. She loves having fun and would thrive with an active family who wants to include their dog in daily walks, adventures, and activities. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playing, although she can be a little spicy and will benefit from continued work on appropriate play and social skills.

As a young dog, Heidi will need a family committed to continuing her basic obedience, handling, socialization, and overall training. She’s smart, energetic, and eager to engage with her people, making her a fun dog to teach and work with. She could also be a great candidate for fun activities like nose work, agility, or other dog sports down the road—not because she needs a job to be happy, but because she has the enthusiasm and personality to really enjoy learning new things with her person.

She could potentially do will with dog-savvy kids 10 and older as she can be bouncy and mouthy.

Heidi is the kind of dog who will keep you laughing while you teach her the ropes. She’ll need consistency, boundaries, and guidance to grow into her best adult dog, but she’ll make the process fun every step of the way!

Heidi is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Chica recently found a foster home and is doing wonderfully! She’s loving life in a home, having a yard, and showing off her great house manners. This incredibly sweet girl is ready to find the loving family she’s been waiting for.

Chica is a ~6-year-old, 50–55 lb Shepherd mix who is smart, active, and eager to please. She knows several commands—including “shake!”—and clearly has experience as someone’s beloved companion. She loves walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures, but once she’s had some exercise, she’s perfectly happy to relax with her people.

A securely fenced yard would be a dream for Chica. She can be leash-reactive around other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home with an experienced adopter committed to continuing her training. She has made wonderful progress and can successfully walk around other dogs with proper handling.

Chica is loyal, loving, and so deserving of a home of her own. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for?

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Willie! Willie is a sweet 6-year-old, 44 lb Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome boy has a happy-go-lucky personality and is ready to find a family of his own to share life’s adventures with!

Sweet, social, and full of confidence, Willie is the kind of dog who loves being around his people. He’s a smart, treat-motivated boy who enjoys learning and will thrive with a family who is looking for a more easy-going companion to accompany them on daily walks and cuddle time on the couch.

Willie has done well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, so his forever family should be prepared to continue working on his manners with positive, consistent training. He has not yet been tested with cats or children.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED
Meet Garth! 💙🐾
Garth is a 2-year-old, 14 lb Spaniel/Dachshund mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This little guy is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can truly feel safe and loved!

Garth is a shy and sensitive boy who takes time to warm up to new people and environments. He can be skittish at first and will need adopters who understand that building trust doesn’t happen overnight—but is so worth it.

Once Garth feels comfortable and bonds with his people, he becomes incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate. He forms deep connections and loves being close to his people.

He does well with other dogs and enjoys running around and playing, though he can occasionally be a bit bossy with his canine friends. A well-matched dog companion could be a great fit for him.

Garth does not walk on a leash and will need an adopter who is committed to helping him with this. We are looking for a a quiet, calm standalone home (no apartments or condos) outside of a busy city environment, with a fully fenced yard where he won’t feel overwhelmed by noise and constant activity. Because of his sensitive nature, he is looking for a home without children.

With time, patience, and a gentle approach, Garth will continue to grow in confidence and show more of his loving personality each day.

Meet Tycho! ❤️ Tycho is a handsome ~6–7-month-old, 30-pound Plott Hound/Dutch Shepherd mix with the sweetest soul. This boy is incredibly loving and people-oriented, and once he bonds with you, he’ll want nothing more than to be by your side.

Tycho can be a little reserved when faced with new environments, or busy surroundings. He’s still learning that the big world isn’t quite as scary as it seems, and he’ll thrive with a patient family who can help him build confidence through positive experiences, continued socialization, and basic obedience training. Because of his sensitivity in new environments, a quieter home away from the hustle and bustle of city life would be the best fit for him.

Tycho absolutely loves the companionship of other dogs and gains confidence from having canine friends around. We’d love to see him in a home with another playful, social dog who can be his buddy and help show him the ropes.

He has not yet been tested with cats or children, but given his young age and sweet nature, he may do well growing up alongside either with proper introductions and supervision.

Like any young pup, Tycho will need a family committed to all things puppy—including continued house training, basic obedience, socialization, and helping him learn how to navigate the world with confidence. In return, you’ll get an incredibly sweet, loyal companion who will bond deeply with his people and fill your life with love. ❤️

Meet Queenie! ❤️ Queenie is a ~6.5-year-old, 110-pound Boerboel who is ready to leave kennel life behind and spend her golden years in the loving home she deserves.

Queenie came to us as an owner surrender, and while she is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl, the kennel environment has been stressful for her. She bonds deeply with her people and is happiest when she can be close to them. What Queenie really wants is a comfortable bed, a quiet home, a sunny spot in the yard, and a person to love.

Queenie is a fairly low-maintenance girl who would be perfectly content spending her days relaxing around the house, lounging with her people, and enjoying leisurely walks here and there. She would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can decompress and settle into a routine. A quiet or rural setting would be ideal for her, and she would not be a good fit for a busy city environment. Because of her age and giant-breed size, she will also need a home without stairs that she would need to navigate regularly.

Queenie does well on walks, but she is a very strong girl and does have a prey drive. Her adopters will need to be experienced with large, powerful breeds and physically capable of handling her size and strength. Queenie can not live with small dogs or cats.

Queenie as surrendered to us with Ozzie, a male Cane Corso. They can be adopted together, but because they are protective of one another, they would need to be the only dogs in the home. They can also be adopted separately into homes where they can each be the center of attention and soak up all the love they deserve.

Queenie is a big girl with an even bigger heart. ❤️ She is looking for someone experienced with giant breeds who will give her the peaceful, loving retirement she has been waiting for.

Dash is a 6-month-old, 30 lb Labrador Retriever mix puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. He is an incredibly sweet, goofy, cuddly boy who adores his people. Once he feels comfortable with you, Dash is all about love, affection, and being close to his favorite humans.

Dash loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can be his playmate and help show him the ropes. He is still very shy and is gaining confidence with the outside world, so having a canine role model will be especially helpful as he learns that new experiences can be fun.

Dash will need a patient family who is ready to start from scratch with puppy training, including house training, basic obedience, socialization, confidence building, and good manners.
