Aliens were the theme…
Landing on Mars was a big topic back in the 90’s. NASA was looking for water on the planet at the time which would indicate life on Mars. We thought that was a good theme for the last float created by the gang. We followed the normal building process but added aliens to the parade. We wanted to have a realistic vehicle, so we added the antenna and moving wheels. The shape was pretty easy to build since it had square corners but getting the correct scale was a bit of a trick. In the picture was Pat, Randy, Mike, Myself and one that I can’t remember or recognize (sorry).
We all met at Jackson again to send off the float. It was the last in a great line of floats.
It was another great night on the lake. Special thanks again to Watertown Box and Stein Sign Display for helping us make this happen. Another 1st place and a good time was had by all. That’s all folks!

Had a great time with my daughter and granddaughter at the last race of the season here in Watertown at Casino Speedway. First night was cancelled after we had a shot of rain. That did not discourage us from waiting it out till they canceled. Next night (saturday) was great racing. Had to get a shot of us sitting in the stands and loving the action. I am blessed with 2 great partners to watch with me.
