The Fund is dedicated to keeping Robby's memory alive by providing scholarships to local students who share Robby's love of learning. graduated from Quaker Valley High School in 2003 and died unexpectedly on July 24, 2009. Robby's legacy remains alive through The Robby Hague Memorial Scholarship Fund - a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization set up to provide annual scholarships to students from the Qua
ker Valley School District. Graduating seniors are chosen to receive the scholarship by submitting an application and essay. The awardee is chosen based upon demonstration of qualities which reflect some of Robby's best - the love of learning and auto-didactism. Although the Robby Hague Memorial Scholarship Fund was officially given 501(c)3 status on August 3, 2010, fundraising efforts began immediately following Robby's death on July 24, 2009. Money raised for the scholarship fund have come from personal donations, as well as fundraising efforts by the committee. The largest fundraising efforts have included an annual bowling tournament and a cookbook with recipes contributed by friends and family. The scholarship fund is overseen by Susan Abercrombie, Ann Behrer, Brian Hague, AnnieElizabeth Hague, Caleb Pass, Andrea Smith, and J.J. Contributions are tax deductible.
