There’s always a way to do it cheaper. But please don’t confuse cheaper with better. Don’t get me wrong, we all want to save money here and there but we shouldn’t do so blindly.
It still amazes me. Most people, when comparing insurance policies, they simply look at price and stop there. No comparison of liability limits, deductibles, etc.

Please save money where you can , but do your due diligence and know what you are getting.

If your spouse stays at home with the kids, there’s a high probability you didn’t consider life insurance for them.

Most people only insure the income earner, which in theory makes sense.

But here’s the gap: If something happens to the stay at home parent, you have to replace everything they do.

Daycare, running kids around, cleaning the house, meal prep, etc. Studies show that costs about 150k per year.

So if you just unsure the working spouse, you just created a financial crisis.

Most families should carry at least 250-500k on the stay at home parent, not because of their paycheck, because replacing what they do is expensive.

The devil is in the details. Make sure you are not just looking at price. Check out the exclusions and make sure you are covered for your personal needs.

This policy was a personal friend of mine that had both a pool and a trampoline and they had no idea until I reviewed the policy for them.
