The Central Washington Junior Livestock Show in Toppen*sh is wrapping up tomorrow with their livestock auction. These kids have worked hard with their projects and would love for you to come out and support them. Fill your freezer with some quality meat raised by some great kids.

I was honored to be with these amazing women last week at the Region V Cattlewomen’s Conference. I met so many inspiring women doing amazing things for agriculture, the beef industry and their communities.

What a strong and powerful group of ladies in Region V ❤️ our region makes up the largest percentage of members across all seven regions 🤩

We, the Washington Cattlewomen, were so happy to host the conference this year. Thank you to everyone that came in from all across CO, ID, MT, OR, WA, and WY!!

Today we’re celebrating one of the most hardworking animals in agriculture — the pig! These amazing animals are raised by dedicated 4-H and FFA members who spend countless hours feeding, caring for, and training their project animals.

Livestock projects teach young people responsibility, work ethic, record keeping, and the true meaning of agriculture. Behind every great show pig is a young person learning life lessons that will last far beyond the show ring.

5 Days until the Super Bowl! 🌾🏈

From farm fields to football fields, the values are the same, hard work, preparation, teamwork, and pride.

Within agriculture, those values are learned early, whether around the kitchen table, in the barn, and out in the field. They’re the same lessons that show up on game day when our Seattle Seahawks take the field.

As the Super Bowl approaches, we’re counting down by celebrating the connection between agriculture and football, the people and the traditions that bring us together.

We may step onto different fields, but we share the same values!
