💙🎀 MEN CAN GET BREAST CANCER TOO! 🎀💙
When we talk about breast cancer, the conversation often focuses on women. But here’s something everyone should know:
Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate by gender.
Although it’s much less common in men, male breast cancer is real, and awareness is just as important!
💙 DID YOU KNOW?
According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 2,670 men in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2026.
Because breast cancer is often thought of as a women’s disease, men may not recognize the warning signs or realize that changes in their breast tissue deserve medical attention.
🔍 WHAT SHOULD MEN LOOK FOR?
💙 A lump or thickening in the chest area, often painless
💙 Changes in the ni**le, including turning inward
💙 Ni**le discharge, especially if bloody
💙 Skin changes such as dimpling, redness, or scaling
💙 Swelling or lumps near the underarm
Having these symptoms doesn’t automatically mean cancer, but they should never be ignored.
🎀 AWARENESS IS FOR EVERYONE.
Men should be familiar with what’s normal for their bodies, too. If something changes, speaking with a healthcare provider is an important first step.
