National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 24

Time to clean out the medicine cabinet!
We all have them: half-finished prescriptions, pills from that surgery years ago, and bottles we can’t even remember getting. Leaving them in the cabinet makes it easy for them to end up in the wrong hands, so bring them to us and we’ll dispose of them safely. No questions asked.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 24, and we will be manning the lobbies at our Sebring and Avon Park offices to accept drop-offs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.Drop-off locations:

Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, 400 S. Eucalyptus St., Sebring
304 W. Pleasant St., Avon Park

Please don’t bring: liquids, syringes, over-the-counter (non-prescription) medications or vitamins.
Clean them out. Keep them safe. Take them back.
