As of market open today, we are proud to announce Macfarlane Investors has crossed the $1,000,000 threshold for directly managed, discretionary assets.

With that being said, this marks the first big step towards the forever goal of building a better wealth management industry, one that is for all Americans, and not just the 1%.

As none of this would be possible without our 50+ clients, it seemed a good time to provide a overall highlight of the folks Macfarlane Investors is proud to serve.

The firm’s address has also been changed, and we encourage everyone to check out an updated Form ADV filing by visiting the link below.

To say that employer sponsored financial benefits is a growing movement is an understatement.

Besides pay and hours, it’s also the MOST important benefit in attracting and retaining talent.

If you are in charge of an organization in any capacity and not paying attention to this, we would encourage you to do so.

It’s also an area where Macfarlane Investors has expertise, and our EFWP is built for you to bridge the gap.

Do you actually know what the stock market is?

Just like a grocery market deals in different types of foods, a car market encompasses different types of vehicles, the stock market is simply an exchange place for buyers and sellers of American businesses.

The stock market goes up because over time, companies in it increase their profits and earnings. Simple as that. As long as the economy exists and grows, so will the stock market, as it is a direct representation of that growth. That’s why rising stock prices and owning stocks is good for everyone, and that’s why we’re here.

The best way to get started in the stock market is to educate yourself. You aren’t going to become a good investor without riding the learning curve. Here are some more good resources:

1️⃣ Nonelective Finance - No-Cost digital investing manual by Jarah D. Macfarlane APMA®️

2️⃣ The one-page financial Blueprint and Market Dispatch Newsletter, both from MacInv.

3️⃣ Yahoo Finance, Investopedia, TradingView and StockRover.

4️⃣ FINRA for investors.

5️⃣ Any of the following beginner investment books⬇️

- The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham
- One Up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch
- The Little Book of Common Sense Investing by Jack Bogle.
- A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G. Malkiel.
- How to Make Money in Stocks by William (Bill) O’Neill.

…and in all honesty, simply asking Google and YouTube your questions is a very real way to learn as well.

For clients Macfarlane Investors deems to be High Net Worth (HNW), reducing fee drag from index products becomes a point of ex*****on. Macfarlane Investors Executive Portfolios are crafted so that the only fees paid in the portfolio are those that go to the advisor. Executive portfolios serve as the core equity holding for high net-worth strategies. Based upon detailed empirical research, the equities within are selected according to 6 distinct Facets. These facets, coupled with patience and sound portfolio management, lead to significant value creation above the S&P 500 benchmark.

Based on account status (qualified/non-qualified), Executive Portfolios will either focus on dividend growth or share buybacks. The portfolio thus comes in two models: Executive Retirement and Executive Non-Retirement. Executive Retirement portfolios are for tax-qualified accounts and focus on dividends, Executive Non-Retirement portfolios are for taxable (non-qualified accounts) and focus on share buybacks.

Both models are diversified across all 11 sectors, equally weighted across mega, large, mid and small caps and have international revenue exposure above 30%. The portfolio companies inside grossed over 2.7 Trillion dollars in net sales in 2022, along with an average 21.8% operating margin, 4.60% shareholder yield and trailing 10 year return vs. the S&P 500 of +618%.

Executive Portfolios are only available to eligible and/or invited clients. Please see the associated rationale, research, sources and disclosures by visiting macfarlaneinvestors.com/executive.
