Often, we wait to make a plan until everything feels like it is falling apart.

But the strongest financial plans are not built in crisis. They are created ahead of it. When you take time to sort through options, set priorities, and make intentional decisions, you gain clarity instead of chaos.

And the good news is this: it is never too late to start. A thoughtful financial plan can bring direction and confidence, no matter where you are beginning.

Sometimes, a simple conversation is all it takes to start bringing things into focus.

What is one area of planning you have been thinking about but have not acted on yet?

End-of-month is a great time for a quick reset.

Ask yourself two simple questions:
What did I spend more on than I expected, and what do I want to do differently next month?

Awareness is a powerful tool, and small course-corrections can make the rest of the year feel lighter.

If you’d like support reviewing your numbers or priorities, let’s schedule a quick check-in.

Taking time to unwind is just as important as managing our finances. When life gets busy, creativity can be the perfect way to pause, breathe, and reset.

Whether it’s painting with friends, unwinding with music, writing, or another creative outlet; these moments of calm help clear the mind and support better decision-making.

Financial wellness isn’t only about money — it’s about confidence.

Today is Tax Day — and whether you’re filing, extending, getting a refund, or making a payment, it’s a good moment to zoom out and look at the bigger picture.

A tax result is a snapshot. A financial plan is the strategy.

If you’d like help thinking through how today’s outcome fits into your goals, I’m happy to talk.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Habitat for Humanity luncheon celebrating their 40 year anniversary, and it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a shared heart for service.

Hearing the stories, learning about the impact made over four decades, and seeing the continued commitment to building safe, affordable housing reinforced something I deeply believe: strong communities are built through generosity, collaboration, and action.

Celebrating 40 years of changing lives is no small milestone, and I’m grateful to be connected to organizations and individuals who continue to show up and make a difference—one family, one home, one community at a time.

Happy Easter to you and your family! Hope your day is filled with celebration and special moments.

April 1st may be full of jokes — but missing Tax Day definitely isn’t one of them!

As we inch closer to the filing deadline, this is your friendly reminder to double-check your documents, look over your deductions, and make sure you’re not ‘fooling’ yourself into leaving money on the table.

A little preparation now can save you stress (and surprises!) later.

As we celebrate that spring has arrived and we think about organizing our lives, most people think about closets and kitchen drawers. I always think about something else… priorities.

What is one thing you wish was more organized in your life right now?

Getting organized financially creates clarity, and clarity leads to better decisions. When accounts are scattered, paperwork is piling up, or important details haven’t been reviewed in a while, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or unsure of next steps.

This is a great reminder to:
- prioritize what’s most important to you
- gather financial documents in one place
- review investment accounts and see what can be simplified or consolidated
- double-check insurance coverage
- review beneficiaries (and then review them again)
- clean up paperwork that no longer serves a purpose

You don’t have to do everything at once. Even one small step toward organization can make a big difference.

One of my core values, in life and in my work, is authenticity.

What is a core value that impacts how you operate in life?

For me, authenticity means always acting in my clients’ best interest with transparency. It means having real conversations, explaining the “why” behind recommendations, and making sure you feel informed and confident every step of the way.

Money decisions are deeply personal. You deserve an advisor who listens first, tells the truth, and puts your goals at the center of the plan. Someone who is consistently upfront with you and intentionally places “your” defined goals centerstage.

I take that responsibility seriously, and I’m grateful for the confidence my clients place in me.

This time of year, I find my skin can easily get dry if I don’t keep up my skincare routine.

How do you feel about your plan for your future?

When it comes to skincare, most of us know that waiting until things are dry, irritated, or cracked isn’t ideal. The real benefits come from consistent care, not last-minute fixes.

The same is true for financial planning.

Strong financial outcomes aren’t built by reacting to every headline or waiting until something feels urgent. They’re built through regular check-ins, thoughtful adjustments and habits that protect you over time.

Planning ahead helps:
● reduce surprises
● create steadier decision-making
● and support long-term goals without the stress of scrambling

Just like skincare, financial planning works best when it’s ongoing, not reactive.

If March feels like a good time to take a proactive look at where you are and where you’re headed, I’m always happy to help start that conversation.

Networking isn’t just about business cards and elevator pitches.
It’s about people.

The more you show up, the more the relationships grow.
You start learning about each other’s businesses…
then each other’s stories…
then each other’s lives.

What starts as a professional connection becomes genuine support, shared learning, laughter, and trust. That’s when networking stops feeling like “work” and starts feeling fun and productive.

When relationships grow, referrals flow naturally—and so does growth.

This is your reminder to share your knowledge with others. You never know what doors and opportunities the Lord might open up in your life.

Please share a positive networking experience you've had!
