Alcance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the community through education, technology and leadership programs. Alcance offers GED classes, computer classes, leadership and personal development workshops and financial education workshops. The organization strengthens Latino communities and families through their programs and resources in an effort to cultivate strong leaders who drive positive change.

Mamas Unidas began as a group of mothers and friends who discovered they shared the same struggle: helping their children navigate the U.S. college admissions process without prior experience. Today, the nonprofit organization helps families—especially low-income, first-generation and Spanish-speaking households—in Central Arkansas navigate the path to postsecondary education, providing culturally responsive guidance that prepares students for college and beyond while strengthening parents’ ability to support their children’s success.

FSB Conway Bankers also participated in Launch Conway, where 2000+ 8th, 9th-, and 10th-grade students from around Faulkner and surrounding counties met with Central Arkansas employers from around the state. Including: financial, public service, manufacturing, professional services, construction and health care.
Great event with lots of financial literacy conversations about check writing and coin and bill counting machines. Gave out lots of financial literacy books and Flex materials.

Our own Brad Beck was selected as one of the Conway Chamber’s Blue Ribbon Workforce Award Winners.

Our Conway bankers have been busy in the community! They attended the Conway Art Walk- Downtown Conway event that happens on the first Friday of each month. The Plinko and face painting were huge hits. We will be back November 6th with s'mores, so come see us!

They also went to the Conway Business Expo & Taste of Conway Chamber Event. Over 100 vendors filled the expo center, representing various industries, and several local restaurants featured favorite menu items to 100s of Faulkner County residents.
