Good Morning Family and Friends It's the REFI guy!! Looks like the markets were waiting to make sure there was going to be an increase in vaccines and a stimulus package passed. The market has reacted and its going up fast!!

I hope everyone's Monday is off to a fantastic start! Does anyone remember me saying how Low Mortgage Rates were and you should ACT NOW before rates climb. As you can see from the chart below the Treasury yields have climbed in reaction to the progress on new stimulus package as well as the global rollout of COVID-19 vaccines. The 10y continues its upward trajectory. Mortgage rates are unfortunately syncing up with that rise! Many, many of you trusted me and ACTED.... And those that did were able to take advantage of the lowest interest rates in history. There's still time to take advantage of low rates but its going away fast! Every new administration post-election has caused rates to increase. You can look at every recent election in history and regardless of the party elected, interest rates in January were always higher than December. Add the holiday season which causes rates to go up, and the stimulus package pending passage to combat a coming lockdown because of COVID spreading worse than ever, the long you wait, the more you will pay. Not only have rates/cost increased every day the last week, the conventional mortgage backers, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac announced all refinances moving forward will be subject to a fee of .5% which on an average loan = $1400 or more!
