Just so you’re up to date…

Tough day for bonds! 📉 The 10yr yield almost hit 5% at 4.979% overnight, the highest since 2007. Mortgage rates are feeling the pressure, and Fed's 'higher-for-longer' stance is steering the ship. The bond selloff is causing bank balance sheets to take hits, making investors nervous. 🏦 Plus, higher borrowing rates may affect consumers down the road. 💰 On the bright side, the Retail Sales report was impressive this week, but Existing Home Sales hit a low we haven't seen since 2010, down nearly 20% annually. 🏡
