CenCal Health was proud to sponsor CommUnify's 20th Annual Champions Dinner, an evening dedicated to recognizing organizations and leaders whose service helps improve the lives of individuals and families throughout Santa Barbara County.

Through programs that support housing stability, family services, youth development, and community well-being, CommUnify helps many of the individuals and families we serve access the resources they need to thrive. We joined the community in celebrating this year's honorees and their commitment to creating opportunities, strengthening support systems, and advancing well-being for those they serve.

Together, we are helping build healthier, more resilient communities across the Central Coast.

This week, CenCal Health had the honor of recognizing Congressman Salud Carbajal for his longstanding leadership and advocacy on behalf of Medi-Cal beneficiaries, providers, and communities across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

From his early service on the CenCal Health Board of Directors and his time as a Santa Barbara County Supervisor to his work in Congress, Congressman Carbajal has demonstrated a continued commitment to expanding access to care and supporting the health and well-being of Central Coast residents.

We are grateful for his partnership and dedication to advancing policies and investments that strengthen public health systems and support our local communities and beyond. We also appreciate the leadership of Board Chair Sue Andersen, Board Members Supervisor Joan Hartmann and Daniel Herlinger, and our CEO Marina Owen, whose presence reinforced the significance of this recognition on behalf of our organization.
