FINHACKS is a Cisco and TD sponsored hackathon for post-secondary students that explores how the Internet of Things is changing the way we live, consume and navigate our world. Taking place from November 18 to 20 on the 29th floor of Cisco’s Toronto Innovation Centre, FINHACKS will bring together more than 100 students from various colleges and universities in and around the GTA. Open to all skill
levels, participants will join teams and be challenged to develop innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences, facilitate financial transactions using connected devices, and surface new tools and ideas that use the latest in software and hardware technologies – with the objective of completing a working MVP prototype over the course of the hackathon. Bragging rights and $10,000 in prizes to the top three teams who best answer the hackathon challenge statement.
