Ecommerce systems is becoming Yes Again Marketing.
Why: Because all businesses, regardless on what it is, starts with marketing. Marketing cannot be an after thought, you can't design your website before you thought of your marketing approach and many businesses do it this way, because they just to sell stuff. Sadly but true.
Yes Again Marketing is about creating a marketing system that starts with strategy, even before your website is design. How would you approach this if you did this first before you spend the $15K - $25K on a website that you're now trying to re-align to what your customers really want or the solutions that they seek.
Many businesses approach marketing and sales like, "hey, i'm here, don't you want what' I'm selling? Its like the guy at the Kiosh stand at your local mall, trying so very hard to just stop someone to talk to them. While this may work sometimes, its a struggle.
For those already in business, you have to work with what you got, I get it. So the next step would be to stop and re-evaluate. Are the goals you set forth before being achieved? Are there any new goals? Why? The re-evaluation process can be arduous but most likely for most necessary. If you don't take the time to re-evaluate your business strategy, the marketplace will do it for you.
Marketing doesn't have to struggle. Marketing can be fun for both you and your customers.
