Startup Happiness

Startup Happiness Executive Coaches to Startup Founders:
Past serial entrepreneurs and certified coaches, we accelerate your growth and success.

Through coaching, we help startup founders become ever more awesome versions of themselves so they can lead and grow their companies to happier and more successful outcomes. Common topics include:
-clarifying vision
-building and leading an exec team
-managing relationships (board, cofounders, staff, and others)
-finding your voice as a leader
-delivering effective feedback
-having difficult conv

ersations
-transparency
-making challenging decisions
-feeling overwhelmed, managing fear and doubt
-hiring and firing
-raising money
-creating accountability
-setting & tracking goals
-creating habits that reinforce company values
-what to do when your founding role (or company) doesn't still feel exciting
-what's next after a failure or exit

While the accomplishments are all theirs, we're really proud of the amazing things our clients do: they create awesome technology, products and services. They build amazing teams (staff and boards) and businesses. More than half our clients closed a venture round in the last year with over $100 million raised among them, and they're all swinging for the fences. Others own profitable businesses that just keep getting better. Sometimes, we work with someone who's still in the idea stage, especially if they've had a successful prior exit or career.

This is why I frequently check with clients how they are sleeping and whether it is something they would like to improve. It directly impacts your performance, wirh sleep deprivation lower EQ, IQ and mood:

“The average American sleeps 6.2 hours.

As you know, the ideal target for sleep is just over 8 hours.

But 6.2 doesn’t sound too far off, right?

Well, if you're sleeping like the average American, here’s a fun analogy:

Studies show that the 1.3 hours you’re missing each night is causing you to perform as if you had a blood alcohol level of 0.05.

And the longer you stay up, the worse it gets. If you’re hustling and pushing yourself, and find yourself awake, at a certain point – usually around 17-18 consecutive hours of being awake – you'd actually be performing as though you're drunk.

At least you’d have an excuse for sending those silly or inappropriate texts and emails 🙃”
