Released on June 16, 1999, the 1st Edition Jungle set was the first Pokémon expansion set. Just like the 1997 expansion from Japan, Jungle was an instant success. One reason was that the set included many characters' first cards, such as Snorlax, Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon.

For more than 25 years, the 1st Edition Jungle Snorlax has been one of the most sought-after cards in the set. With the white background color of this card, these cards show damage and scratches much more easily than other card colors. This makes finding high-grade examples nearly impossible. Today, Snorlax still has a massive following and is one of the most popular Pokémon. Presented here is one of his very best, as just 76 copies of over 5,000 graded by PSA have ever achieved a 10.

A PSA 10 Dark Dragonite ends Thursday night on Alt 👀

It's said that a Dragonite can fly faster than the speed of sound and is highly intelligent. Many people refer to this Pokémon as the Sea Guardian. The card offered here is from the Team Rocket set, the fourth set released for the Pokémon TCG, and it features the Pokémon. Team Rocket's mission is to capture the strongest and rarest Pokémon, and it looks like they've done just that here, as the title of this 1st Edition card is Dark Dragonite! The adorable yet menacing artwork was done by Mitsuhiro Arita. PSA has certified 224 copies, earning a Gem Mint 10 grade.

The US originally banned this card 🤯

Released in the 2000 Pokémon Gym Heroes set, this 1st edition Sabrina’s Gengar is one of the most iconic Gengar artworks in all of Pokémon. It was originally seen on the 1998 Japanese Challenge from Darkness Sabrina’s Gengar. However, the 1st edition English version differs slightly from its Japanese counterpart. The 1998 Japanese version depicts images of tombstones in the background of the holograph. But on the English version, the tombstones were not included in the holograph. The result is a rare instance in which the Japanese and English artwork for the same card are not identical. Graded a Gem Mint PSA 10, this is a chance to own one of the most sought after and elusive Gengar cards on the planet.
